Privacy Policy

Effective September 14, 2026

BOLO Impact Foundation (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit bolofoundation.org or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

In brief

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
  • We only collect personal information you choose to send us, such as when you email us.

Information we collect

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to write.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose problems.

Cookies. This website does not currently set cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking.

How we use information

  • To read and respond to your messages.
  • To operate, maintain and secure the website.
  • To send you updates about our work, only if you ask us to.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers that help us run the website and our email, such as our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email provider (Google), who may use it only to provide those services.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of others.
  • With your consent.

Donations

We do not currently accept donations through this website. Before we do, we will update this policy to explain what information is collected when you give and how it is handled.

How long we keep information

We keep emails and related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our communications, unless the law requires a longer period. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own policies.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email info@bolofoundation.org.

International visitors

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws from those where you live.

Our website may link to other websites, such as social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
